An 83-year-old from Gaißach certainly imagined his fishing afternoon differently on Friday afternoon: according to the police, he was standing with his fishing rod near Gaißach in the Isar around 4 p.m. As several rafting boats passed, one of the boats touched him, knocking him over. According to the police, the boats simply continued without taking care of the angler. He was able to save himself to the shore on his own, despite his “waterlogged fishing trousers”, as the officials’ report says. Several of the angler’s personal belongings were damaged in the accident, which is why the police are now looking for witnesses. Anyone who can provide information or information about the accident is asked to contact the Bad Tölz police on 08041/761060.
