The police are looking for witnesses and clues to clear up a series of burglaries in Bad Tölz and Lenggries over the weekend. According to the officials, previously unknown people broke into a bar in Lenggries in the night from Friday to Saturday and stole a few hundred euros in cash. In Bad Tölz, the same perpetrators apparently had five commercial properties in their sights. They had to stop the burglary because the alarm went off. But the perpetrators managed to gain access to four of the five properties. According to the police, the total damage caused by booty amounts to around 1,000 euros, and the property damage also amounts to a few hundred euros. In one of the burglaries in Bad Tölz, two people were observed by a witness at around 5.45 a.m.
The crimes may be related to an attempted break-in that was reported to the police in Bad Tölz at the end of last week. In the night from Thursday to Friday, between 8.30 p.m. and 5 a.m. to be precise, unknown persons tried to break into a drinks market on the Gewerbering. The sliding glass door was massively damaged. The property damage is estimated at around 2000 euros. According to the officials, a large number of traces and clues are currently being evaluated, and the investigations are ongoing.
