Braubach (dpa / lrs) – A hotel ship burned on the Rhine on Sunday. According to the water police, the fire broke out in the engine room shortly after casting off in Braubach (Rhein-Lahn district). The captain was able to dock the ship safely again and disembark the passengers. The Firefighters put out the fire. People were not harmed. The ship could not continue its journey on Sunday. The water police are investigating the cause of the fire. The extent of the damage was initially unknown.
