Rostock (dpa) – Hannover 96 has continued its winning streak in the 2nd Bundesliga and celebrated the fourth success in a row.
Lower Saxony won 1-0 (1-0) at FC Hansa Rostock on Sunday. Maximilian Beier (41st minute) gave the guests the lead with a penalty just before the break. In the second half, the Hanseatic League got better and better, but sometimes failed because of the strong 96 goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler.
Lukas Hinterseer, who was unlucky at Hannover last season and moved to Rostock in the summer, played for Hansa from the start. The 31-year-old Austrian was hardly noticed in the game and was substituted after 78 minutes. Hannover got off to a good start, but then a rather tough second division game developed, which was decided by the legitimate penalty.
