Masses (dpa/bb) – When a sports plane crashed in masses in the Elbe-Elster district, two people were seriously injured. According to the police, the pilot of the motor glider reported a technical defect on Sunday and initiated an emergency landing. The plane then crashed into a fenced area of the Massener Höfe. Both the 59-year-old pilot and the 71-year-old co-pilot were taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to the police, there was no danger to life on Sunday. The Federal Office for Air Transport was informed to investigate the cause of the crash in more detail.
