Berlin (dpa / bb) – A diplomat’s car went up in flames in Berlin-Lichterfelde. A witness alerted the fire department around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, the police said. When the emergency services arrived on Margaretenstrasse, the flames had already spread to two other cars. The fire brigade managed to completely extinguish the fire. According to initial findings by the police, it was not a politically motivated act. It is unclear whether the perpetrators identified the number plate of the company car as a diplomatic number plate. This usually starts with the number zero.
