Schlangenbad (dpa/lhe) – After a head-on collision on the B260 in Schlangenbad (Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis), a woman died and three other people were critically injured. According to a spokesman for the fire brigade, the cars collided late on Sunday afternoon for an initially unknown reason. A vehicle caught fire.
First responders managed to get the driver and passenger out of the burning car. However, the woman died at the scene of the accident and the driver suffered life-threatening injuries. The three occupants of the second car were also taken out of the vehicle by first responders. Two of them suffered life-threatening injuries and one had moderate injuries. The first responders and the emergency services were looked after by emergency chaplains at the scene of the accident.
