On Friday afternoon, a 34-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on the B 11 Kesselberg route. As reported by the police, the man from Völs, Austria, was on his way uphill in the direction of Lake Walchen. In a longer left-hand bend, he was the only one involved, due to his speed not being adjusted, left the lane to the right and slipped into a creek bed to the right of the lane to lie down. The driver involved in the accident was taken to the Murnau accident hospital by ambulance. The motorcycle, which was a total loss of around 10,000 euros, had to be lifted out of the river bed using a crane.
