The world is ending, not everywhere, but in Brikebüll. The fictional North Frisian street village has changed fundamentally over the decades, the old are dying, the young are moving away, and there are no more storks. You can read all about it in Dörte Hansen’s bestseller ” Mittagsstunden ” and it will soon be available in cinemas : Lars Jessen’s film will be released nationwide on September 22nd, before that his main actor will introduce him personally in Munich. Charly Hübner , multiple award-winning actor, audience favorite and former Rostock “police call” inspector, plays a university lecturer who is drawn back to his home village. He has to take care of “the Olen”, he says, i.e. his parents. At the same time, he wonders when the end of the world began in Brikebüll. Hübner is expected at City-Kino on Monday, September 19. Not at noon, but at eight in the evening.
