After a forced break due to Corona, it was finally time again this year: Hundreds of bright yellow plastic ducks were allowed to swim in competition on the Grafinger Urtelbach. Third mayor Regina Offenwanger gave the starting shot for the race, and many curious Grafing residents lined the race track, even though the weather was rather cool and autumnal. After all, those who had sent one of the ducks on their way could hope for great prizes.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the duck race will once again benefit the social work of Caritas in the Ebersberg district . The chairman of the association, Herbert Schütze, would like to thank the numerous shops in and around Grafing that have generously made donations or act as advance sales outlets: “We are a non-profit association that lives from donations and are happy to go a step further for people in need to be there and to be able to offer help on site with Caritas in an uncomplicated way.”
