Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – In the new school year, 21 other music clubs will work together with the schools in the south-west. In total, there are now 268 such long-term partnerships, the Ministry of Education announced on Thursday in Stuttgart. The cooperation is profitable for both sides, Minister Theresa Schopper (Greens) was quoted as saying. “The clubs can present themselves and win members, the schools can win people who are passionate about music and can convey enthusiasm for singing and instruments to children and young people.” A joint project could be, for example, a musical that you rehearsed together.

According to the information, the cooperations are funded with an average sum of 650 euros per year. This would be used to buy sheet music or instruments, for example.
