Halle (dpa/sa) – In the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt, the proportion of women has fallen. While last year 27.8 percent of MPs were women, in 2011 it was 32.4 percent. This was announced by the State Statistical Office on Thursday. In 2021, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (23.9 percent) had the lowest proportion of women in a parliament, the highest in Hamburg (44.7 percent). Saxony-Anhalt is in eleventh place in a nationwide comparison.
