Racice (dpa) – The light men’s quadruple and the light duo without a helmswoman brought the German Rowing Association (DRV) the first World Cup medals in the non-Olympic boat classes.

The women’s duo won bronze behind Italy and the USA in the final of the title fights in Racice ( Czech Republic ) on Friday. The men’s crew also took third place, just 2/10 of a second behind second place from China. There was another bronze medal for Paul Umbach (Nürtingen) in the Para-One PR2.
