The police have struck a major blow against drug-related crime. The Erding criminal police was able to secure almost 90 kilograms of marijuana after extensive investigations, which also took place in the Freising district . Four people were arrested during the operation. According to information from the police, a residential property in Munich was first searched in the early hours of the morning last Tuesday. During this action, which was preceded by extensive investigations, the officers from Erding were supported by riot police and the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office.
A total of around 87 kilograms of marijuana were seized in the vehicles used by the suspects. As part of follow-up searches in several apartments – including Moosburg in the Freising district – in addition to various data carriers, numerous luxury watches and almost 45,000 euros in cash were taken into custody, the police said. In addition, an ax was found, which had been stored ready for access by one of the suspects.
Four suspects between the ages of 31 and 39 were brought before a magistrate at the request of the Landshut public prosecutor’s office and then transferred to prisons. Police say the follow-up investigation is ongoing.
