Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – A new lecture hall building is being built on the campus of the Magdeburg University Medicine. After a good eleven months of construction, the shell is finished, and the topping-out ceremony was celebrated on Friday, as announced by the university medicine. The new building would create urgently needed lecture hall capacities for the approximately 1,500 medical students in Magdeburg. A new lecture hall with modern digital technology and 300 seats as well as a foyer for scientific events, conferences and exhibitions is being built for around 9.3 million euros. The building is expected to be available for courses from spring 2023.
